Micro-Credential STEM Ghana

Micro- Credential STEM Ghana

ExpLearn and ExpLearn International were delighted to welcome 26 students and 2 staff from Ghana to participate in our August micro-credential. This was a new collaboration with Gidenz, from Ghana. The participants were challenged on their knowledge of sustainability and renewable energy and their abilities to utilise practical activities to further advance their STEM (Science, Technology,  Engineering  and Mathematics) capabilities. They then had the opportunity to explore environmental solutions to historical industrial pollution that could be replicated on their return to Ghana.

During the 7-day programme the students had an intensive study period working on their technical English through experiential learning, critical thinking and reflective practice within an international setting. They were also able to have cultural and social visits giving a unique taste of Scotland from our base in Larbert, Central Scotland.
